More than a rumor. :coolsmiley:

4:30 Friday, so that's a good teetime? I'm not into night golf, getting done 8:30 to 9:00, when's dinner 10:00? You're missing that some people want to play in daylight hours and finish about 4:00 to 5:30 in the evening. Then you go home, shower, have dinner, and still have somewhat of a Friday night.

I stated in my original post, we requested 11:56 to 1:30, that's the time we requested for the past 9 years and have gotten a time every Friday. Now they've even extended the hours beyond 4pm and it's still booked up, it's probably until the snowbirds go home, the third nines reopen probably in June or so before these teetime problems go away. We did get a time, Saturday at 10:56 at Glenview. Executives, I don't wait all week to play 90 minutes of golf with my irons, that good practice or warm up, but it's not golf.

What I was trying to say (obviously not clearly) I was looking at open tee times at 4:30 on Friday. What I found was a lot of available tee times, on Sunday, all day.

OK, since Friday is our normal play day, then I have check with the guys to see if Saturday is OK, then if Saturday is not good, then check again for Sunday. It messes up the program when you have change days. Fortunately I was able to get the 10:56 time on Saturday when I went to open times, as it turns out I had to skip today because I've come down with a cold, but the three guys are out at Glenview right now.

You will need to enter requests with a liberal start time. If you have 3.00 points, you can forget getting a tee time.

Maybe because Sunday (today) is Mother's Day.

Whats clear is that the housing supply and new residents is exceeding the available golf times. Supply and demand....

Tee times now are hard to get before 4:00 but sometimes if you go to new reservations you may get one early afternoon for 1 or 2 people. We are playing today, a foursome, at 2:32.

People can’t do their preferred sport so now they are playing golf more until the other sports are opened up.

I golf but am not good but not bad either, I have my days but I don’t think there are any PRO’S living in TV. Executive golf may not be your cup of tea but it is golf, there is a course, tee times, greens, flag sticks, holes, balls and you use golf clubs to hit the ball. When I am out walking I see some golfers on championship courses that probably spend more tome on executive courses, just saying.

Open up the pickle ball/tennis courts, the softball leagues, all the other closed activities, and, you'll be surprised at all the pen tee times.

Have to disagree. Had no trouble getting tee times on execs or championship courses before the shutdown of everything else.

Most people who are shut out so to speak put in very few courses and a limited range of available times. I golf three times weekly on Championship and have NEVER been shut out. Our group puts in ALL courses and at least a five hour window. We may not get our first choice or best time but we always golf. Another factor is how high pointers affect your group!

The complainers here are very limiting and do not understand the situations and how they affect what you may desire and what can be made available.

Best advice : expand your horizons!

No. My husband puts in 10 or 12 executive courses and we get a tee time.
