Default Tarpon Boil

Played Tarpon Boil 3/16/19 . . . . . . have never seen such deplorable greens! Enormous poorly installed patches, weeds, bare spots, the soil was like a rotten sponge so much ball marks could not be repaired- and this is not an exaggeration. Extensive work done just 3-yrs ago evidently caused more problems than it solved. Needs to be shut down.

Such a shame nobody knows how to maintain a golf greens. You would think TVs would make that top priority.

I think the "builder" concentrates more on Building golf courses more than Maintaining the ones all ready here..

On another thread, same subject of poor greens, a link was provided who to contact about golf course conditions.....I have not been able to find it again.

It would seem to me that if enough people started contacting and complaining..... and oh by the way the complaint should address the larger issue....The Villages pillar, center piece, keystone in all their ads is GOLF!!!!!

Ongoing terrible greens is a violation of TV delivering AND MAINTAINING the advertised golf.

They do have some contractors who know what they are doing....if you have not played Walnut Grove you are in for a surprise. The greens are in fact greens....real grass...some even carpet like.

From what I understand there is no one contractor that has all TV golf courses, I have no source to cite, locker room talk.

The common denominator is the management responsible for greens and golf course maintenance. There is no way a responsible representative can look at these conditions and justify the the poor excuse for playing surfaces.

TV always responds when there is a legal liability involved. Now what could be the liability of continued trash green conditions and violating advertised claims?!?!?

Without a concerted effort of complaints the odds of the poor conditions getting corrected will be as effective as getting golfers to fill divots, fix ball marks and raking sand traps.

Maybe complaints should be directed to Mark Morse with a copy to Jennifer Paar.

Been snowbirding in TV for twenty years, and have never seen the Executive Courses in such a deplorable state.
Either the green staff have no training or guidance, or the only other answer is, no one gives a $(*&!!!

I agree 100% came to the villages for what I thought to be top golf courses in great condition not the case.Played Ocalla national the other day for 28 bucks great course nice layout. Then the next day we played Country club of Ocala 50 bucks. blows anything away that’s in the villages the owners should to be ashamed of themselves.plus I think it’s nice to Support local clubs that are having difficulties staying open

Really bad conditions on way too many executive courses. Add Bogart to the list of the above examples. Spare yourself the mistake and don't take any guests there. It is the peak season when the potential for house sales are high. Once you get past the pretty flowers in the roundabouts and onto the deplorable conditions on these "free" golf courses, you may get second thoughts. The excuse of "heavy play" at this time of year just doesn't cut it anymore, when other area courses and a few of our own executive courses are in much better shape.

He sent someone to look at my complaint and they installed a temp green the next day. But, they should inspect all the exec greens and do something about the overall condition.
