I'm not ready to commit to a league, but would like to find someone who would like to play golf one or two days a week. (9 holes) I'm new to The Villages and miss my golfing gals from Michigan. I live in the Village of Pinellas near the library. I'm a terrible golfer, but love to go out and laugh at myself try to play the game.

I am very new to golf as well and also live near the library (off and on until the house in Virginia gets sold). I'd love to get up with a group that is new/terrible/likes to have fun.

All of this sounds great to me. Since we're so close to the holidays, maybe we can plan to get together to play some golf after the rush is over. Let me know and I'll PM you my phone number.

I am looking for a bi-weekly cleaning lady. Does anyone know a good one?
Please post or send me a PM. THANKS A BUNCH!

I'm so with you there, Bare. I'm looking for one, also biweekly, that is reasonably priced, will show up when they say they will, and actually clean ALL the things in my house, like dust picture frames, wipe down cabinets in the kitchen, clean the shower, empty the trash cans in the bathroom, dust my bedframe, vacuum the ONE rug in my house. Am I asking too much? I have 2 dog beds in my bedroom. One woman thought it would be ok to take the dog bed and put it on TOP of my own human bed and bedspread while she mopped my bedroom floor. I didn't agree with that idea. Frankly, I couldn't see how she thought that dirty thing seemed like it would belong on my clean bed. Am I too picky? When I lived in PA we had the same woman clean for 11 years and never a complaint. Since we have been here we have had 3 different people come and not come back with no explanation. And charge us 25% more than we were paying in PA and do less for the money. I just don't get it. Someone please explain it to me. I don't think I'm cranky or unkind or unreasonable but I do have a standard in my head of what a cleaning person should do (show up is one of thing).
I have a 1550 sq ft villa. It's all tile. What do people pay?

I can recommend Lisa Marie Grasso at 352. 552. 1192.
I am not sure if she is taking new customers or what she charges for biweekly cleaning, but she is top notch! You can tell her Kim and Rae recommended her..

Fraugoofy, I cannot thank you enough for your recommendation!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I spoke with Lisa Grasso this morning, and she is fitting me in for cleaning tomorrow! Yay!
I have company coming Thursday so the timing is perfect. And she is able to take me on as a bi-weekly customer.
I am so very appreciative of your suggestion. :ho:

Glad I could help.

I'm looking for feedback on the "new" Renee who works at Victoria Hair in the Santa Fe Plaza. She has worked there about a month.

Not the "old" Renee who has left Victoria Hair -- does anyone know where she went?

P.S. I have been reading a lot of reviews on Amazon regarding Wen shampoo.
Some women rave about it, some think it is garbage.
I wish I could buy a small bottle locally so I could try it out.

I think with Wen and other products marketed in the same way, you pay for a lot of HYPE.

You're probably right Gracie.
But don't we all hope for that miracle product that improves our life or takes away all our wrinkles? :girlneener:

NOT....if I looked like YOU.

Barefoot 02-04-2015 01:41 PM

Graciegirl, time to change your glasses prescription.
I look like the bottom of a rain barrel on a bad day.
But we usually are our own worst critic.
As Jane Fonda said: "I'm not really old. I'm just in an old body".

I really love hearing recommendations from other women about hair and make-up products.
