I just finished watching the last episode of Feud: Bette and Joan. Somebody probably will win an Emmy. I wonder which one.

I watched a couple of episodes because you recommended the show. I just couldn't get into it.
But then I watch reality shows, so I obviously have poor taste.

Hi Barefoot, that's OK. I watch TOTV. That's sort of a reality show.

:agree: So true -- TOTV really is a "reality show" at times.
Especially if you wander into the Political Forum -- it gets really real in there. :ohdear:

The Political Forum proves to everyone that The Villages is not America's Friendliest Home Town.

Hmmmmm. Have you met Tahlula? My white malti-poo LUVS sox....she loves 'em for breakfast, snack, dinner... and on and on.
Miss T buries them in the yard. I find some of them months/ seasons later with roots, weeds, aloe plants, etc, growing THROUGH THEM.
She loves a good safety pin challenge. PS- Tahlula NEVER loses.
it is nutso. BUT soooooo cute.

I have been watching the BBC's "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries." Miss Fisher is smart, sophisticated, knows her way around men, and wears the most gorgeous clothes -- all while solving murders. The show is set in the 1920s.

It is on Netflix.

Love this show, I get it twice a week on Channel 15 with Direct. Love the clothes, what about her home, and the understated sexual attraction between her and the detective is very well played.

Anyone watching "Vera" on PBS on Tuesdays on Direct? It is a great little show and Vera is a dumpy, frumpy, female detective working in the North of England and her accent is a bit difficult to understand sometimes. I am really enjoying it.

Three of my favorite things.

I love Netflix. There is so much really great stuff to watch.

And I also love Amazon Prime and Zappos Shoes.

I realize that I should already know this, but what is "Direct"?
Is it a TV Provider, and if so, is it available in the CR 466 area?

Direct TV is just another satellite TV provider, along with Dish and yes it is available in the 466 area. I believe they may be offering a really good two year price, much lower than what I am paying, and it covers TV, Computer and phone. Watch for their specials, or search Direct TV on the internet and see what they are offering. Bare if you search TOTV you will see a great deal of information on Direct TV.

We watch PBS on Channel 15 out of Daytona, we get 24 which gives you loads of good PBS programs and we also get 68 which is a bit more of an educational type channel, they have discussions between political type people. Still interesting.

If you feel like escaping with a happy little movie on Netflix, you might try "Bottle Shock." (I just heard about this movie last week, although it has been around for years.)

If you like wine and/or you find the world of wine fascinating, you will like this movie about a blind wine tasting competition in Paris in 1976 when a California Chardonnay won.

The movie is a fictionalized version of a real event. Fun. Romantic. Likeable people. AND it is set in the 1970s so we can reminisce about how darned cute we all were back then, even while wearing those hideous clothes.
