Yes, my grandmother used to walk around with salt and pepper and bluish colored hair, we never took any notice.

My mother had black hair (wish I had inherited that instead of mouse brown). When she started to go gray, she got a bottle of Clairol black dye and came out with purple hair.

But I've never heard the term blue cloud and would like to know what EPutnam means by it.

I am getting my eyebrows and eyeliner done in November.
I hate pain (I daresay most of us do).
I'm getting nervous already!

Bare, I am having my lips done August 23 an am very nervous about it. However, I have had eyeliner done and it truly was painless. Cindy said the lips would not hurt so I just have to trust her.

Thanks for the report; as you know I'm also using Cindy.
I'm having eyebrows and eyeliner done in November.

I don't get my lips done until January.
I eagerly await your report.

Barefoot 07-31-2018 04:26 PM

I had someone email this to me. Yikes, not encouraging.
I think it depends a lot on who does the work.
In the past, I've seen a lot of fake-looking eyebrows.
Cindy has done "work" on herself and it looks great.

I'll be interested to see the result. I've seen one of each, and they both looked fake. But that was a few years ago... perhaps things have gotten more realistic lately.

The time is fast approaching when I have appointments with Cindy.
Starflyte, how did your lips turn out?

Did you ever find out what "blue cloud" means?
It was a comment made to Star who was looking for a Dorothy Hammil cut, so I don't think it's purple hair.

I had permanent make-up done in November by Cindy Fowler, both eyebrows and eyeliner.
Cindy says that the first appointment doesn't result in much color.
I'm waiting for the touch-up appointment in January 2019 before I decide whether I like it.

I am so interested in hearing your opinion. I also want to do eyebrows, eyeliner and lips as well. Other medical issues have taken priority so I have to wait -- I always want to make sure that I am off the blood thinner by the time of an appointment. But would really appreciate your opinion of the whole process and, of course, and the results.

I'm concerned that you're on blood thinners. I took warfarin once for blood clots in my lungs.
That was before they came out with all the newfangled blood thinners which have pretty much replaced warfarin.
Please remind me in January after I have the touch-up appointment.
Cindy says that the initial appointment doesn't result in much color.
Cindy books six months out, so you should probably make an appointment now if you want to use her.
She probably wouldn't do permanent makeup for anyone on blood thinners, but in six months, you should be ready?

That's interesting that you had to stop aspirin three months before your appointment with Cindy.
If you're back, I'd like to get together to see your lips - please PM me.
I guess you're probably busy with Christmas plans. We are going to spend Christmas in Cocoa Beach.
Perhaps early January?
