Re: Girl Talk
I, too, was hooked more on the view when Rosie was on it because you never knew what she was going to say. I don't like Elizabeth, so I find it really annoying sometimes, but I still do like the Hot Topics segment.

hysterectomy support site that I found in 2005 when I underwent mine due to cancer. We moved to TV just six weeks after my surgery and it sure did help to be living here in paradise. www.hystersisters.com Hope your feeling a lot better now Avista and well on your way to a full recovery |
Re: Girl Talk
Back to loving the view now that Whoopie is on.I have been a fan of hers for a long time. She says it like it is, with some compassion and class ,unlike Rosie, who was just plain mean and crude. I stopped watching because of her.

Re: Girl Talk
Hope you are doing well, Avista. You didn't need the darn thing anyway...unless you wanted babies...and then you'd have to leave TV until they were 19 . Seriously, hope you have recovered and feel great.
ote author=Avista link=topic=4586.msg35413#msg35413 date=1202748565] Any of you gals every had a hysterectomy? I'm having one next week--right here in The Villages Hospital. [/quote] |
Re: Girl Talk
HB: The View is on at 10 or 11 here. I think 11am because in Chicago it was on at 10. Hot Topics is just the first segment before they start the rest of the show with guests. I really only watch the Hot Topics segment when I get a chance. ;)

Re: Girl Talk
The View is on Channel 9 at 11 AM. Hot Topics is the most interesting part. Each participant usually has a different, and sometimes controversial, point of view. They have three comedians, a republican, plus Barbara Walters who started the program. BW is a classy lady. Makes for sometimes interesting viewing. Sometimes they have great guests. I usually turn it off half way through and go out to play. ;D

Re: Girl Talk
Thanks Barefoot. Will try to remember to watch it.
What I have read on this thread has made me curious to watch the program. Thanks. HB |
Re: Girl Talk
I lost interest in the view when Meridith Viera left. She was truly the classy, smart, professional host and such a family oriented person. Too bad she was swooped up by the Today show, but I can see why.
Don't like listening to three comediennes talking about their points of view. Sorry, I don't feel they have credibility. Quote:

Re: Girl Talk
lol Kathi. Well, believe it or not, it's not because she's such a loud mouth Republican, it's because she believes she has the only right answer for EVERYTHING! I couldn't even stand her on Survivor! :-*

Re: Girl Talk

Can't say I like her either, but I do know who I don't like. Anyway, Have a good day!! Enjoy TV!! Wish I was there!! Your sistah, Kathie |

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my shape to keep. Please no wrinkles, Please no bags And please lift my butt before it sags. Five tips for a woman.... 1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job. 2. It is important that a man makes you laugh. 3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to you. 4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you. 5. Strangely, though, I've never been happier. Guess we get more gratitude along with the sags and bags. |
Re: Girl Talk
I have a girl question. I am finding that I am developing allergies to "normal" hair colouring (Clairol, Nice n Easy, drugstore stuff). Eeek, not ready to go grey yet! :yikes:
Not sure if such a thing exists, but does anyone know of a hair colouring that is non-allergenic? |
