My problem when in TV is the frizzies -- I look like LuLu the Axe Murderer . . . I got the keratin hair straightening treatment in Key Largo a couple of years ago when we were wintering there. It helped. Has anyone gotten that done here and might they have a recommendation?

You might want to call Victoria and talk to her.
352-753-6505
She is very knowledgeable and experienced and pleasant.
She knows who does what in The Villages!
Victoria has a shop called Victoria Hair in Sante Fe Plaza on CR 466.
She has a lot of independent stylists working in her shop.
I'm sure she can put you in touch with someone who can help.

I say...you and the vicar-ess have lovely eyes. Leave them alone.
A little eyebrow pencil and some eyeliner will smudge up here fast in this temperature and humidity....but the lovely insides (and outsides) of both of you come shining through. I particularly like the twinkle in your eyes from your wit and sense of humor.

I use REVITALASH and have been for 3+ years. Will continue to do so, as I went from practically nothing to wonderful / full lashes. Many times I don't even wear mascara. Trust me, I did my research on this! You can buy it from CVS or Amazon @ a 1/3 of the price of the other one. I am 100% please - anything to make life easier!

Overheard from a teenager at the square when a particularly nice older woman walked by.
"She looks nice but she still looks old."

I've seen the results of some of the lash enhancer products and the results are incredible.
But ... I was using a lash enhancer, and then I got a blocked tear duct.
I ended up being treated by an Opthamologist.
I'm not sure if my problem was created by using a lash enhancer. Possibly not.
But now I'm wary of them.

My hair was snow white on top and dirty blonde in back and sides. I now have my hairdresser bleach out my whole head and put a lovely white toner on it. I love it and surprisingly I get many compliments even from men. I think it makes me look younger.

I think white hair on someone with a youthful face is absolutely stunning.

No, not blind.
We may hunt you down and tickle you to death.
Or maybe when you visit The Villages in February, one of your dogs will be dognapped.
Girl Talk has awesome powers, watch out.

Yeah, and we don't even need squirt guns. We can just think it.

A couple of weeks ago someone started a post on where to purchase a Mother of the Bride/Groom outfit and along with the posts was information on three (I think) really good thrift shops right around TV. Does anyone still have this information please. Looking for something formal.

Try looking at the TOTV I.D.
Sunny46
She started a thread entitled
"Help Please! Need a Dress for a Wedding!"
Several consignment stores were mentioned.
