Yaaaa! Have to start collecting my bubbles bangles and beads! And practicing my shimmys!! What fun were gonna have sistah's!

This thread is allowing our imaginations to run wild! Needed some intellectual stimulation my brain has been on R&R in TV.

Hey, any ideas for the bachelorette party?

Red, you wrote "Since I do have a true love of sterling roses and lilacs, the color scheme will have to lavender. "

You will not have to wear lavender. It can still be your color scheme.

Nonie - yes this is fun, but your brain will have to be put into gear to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

Bachelorette party and bride-to-be also requested a shower. She said she never had one. Just recalled Tony saying he is/was part of the Chippendale's. He can jump out of our cake and do his thing.

Why don't you head up the Bachelorette party?

I think we should get The Great Fumar and Handie to head up the Bachelor Party. Don't know if Peech will be down here for this event.

ok, ok, Ill resign my position of jumping out of the cake to Tony.

Putting puzzles together was never my thing, Ill just go along with whatever duties I am given. Im an obedient child.

Lavender????? Lavender???? :edit: Red, I would look awful in lavender. But I thank you profusely for the compliment! At our ages we need all we can get. Before this wedding, should someone sit you down and tell you about the birds and the bees?

Sam, I wonder if the story of the birds and the bees is different when the groom-to-be is 92 years old?? Hmmmm, think its the same? I don't know and I'm not asking.... :dontknow:

P.S. you'll look lovely in any color. Maybe we should have a rainbow theme? All bridesmaids will wear the color of their choice?? OMG, could you see that!

I would NEVER ask my friends to wear pastels! I think bridesmaids look lovely in black, blue or whatever they choose so long as it would complement a lavendar theme.

As to the birds and bees talk, let's just skip that one, please. I have all the faith in the world that a 92-year-old male will be happy to teach me anything I don't know.

So, who's going to plan the bachelor party?

I had a rock guy at my house today installing 11 tons of rock. He is in his mid 20s and was working without his shirt on. Sadly, I had to leave and go to Yoga. I guess women like eye candy just as much as men do.

BBB, haven't inflated my bouncy ball yet. Nonie knows how to do stuff and she is coming over to fix my vacuum cleaner, perhaps she can inflate my ball also. Thanks Nonie.

BF and Nonie,

Hi, I have a foot attachment that you use to blow up the balls, let me know if you need it.

When I was in physical therapy I used the ball to help with a minor balance problem. It was an easy exercise. One was to walk around sitting on the ball without falling off of it, the other was to sit on a chair, bend over and glide the ball to the left, center and right - this latter problem had to deal with the aging process and my spine.

The exercises did help.

Nonie,

For those of us who can not belly dance perhaps we could bring our balls and do some of the movements sitting on the ball.

It could be fun.

Hi, on our other thread, Girlfriends, there is a posting about Villages 07 golf achievement. She hit a hole in one.

I think she is the first one of our group who has accomplished this.

I guess you could say she is our number :#1: golfer.
