I also had the the plumping removed at 40 had flashes but did not opt for hormone replacement. I did soy and that seem to help. I get an heat surges now and then not sure if its the lack of hormones or my lupus. A cool drink seems to help. Having this will not keep me out of fla. Just more reason to soak in the pool
