Default What will be next after SS appliances?

After reading the discussion about the best way to clean SS appliances, I wondered what would be the new finish when the stainless steel look has run its course? About a year ago I heard someone talk about a new platinum finish? Sounds like it would be equally as tough to keep streak free as SS.

I use WD40 on my appliances and it works OK, but I am ready for something new.

I've always looked forward to the return of paisley. Imagine your appliances with that look.

Of course, I liked the Nehru jackets too...

I think it will go full circle back to the aqua and pink we grew up with.

For the rednecks, camouflage.

I'm thinking the harvest gold and avacado green. I did see on Shark Tank a new business where they sell huge refrigerator magnets in all styles and colors. You can make your refrigerator stainless steel color or your dishwasher paisley, all kinds to choose from.

Had the gold and green. I liked the gold, the almond and at the time the chocolate brown. The green not so much.

I would like old fashioned vintage look appliances in dark red with the old bakelite knobs.

I always suspected I was boring. This tread has proven it.

Madras is my preference, but I do like the look of the Nehru jacket.

Not for appliances....yet.....but I just bought a paisley couch. I like paisley a lot and even better, the paisley design is muted so my couch looks like somebody already spilled coffee on it.

I want a Smeg powder blue fridge. But I'd have to have the kitchen to go with it.

I like the new pewter textured ones. Easy to clean, no fingerprints. Really look nice. But I dearly loved my almond kitchen and hated the avocado green fridges.

When I was a kid our neighbor had her cabinets painted plaid. It looked great.

I have the new GE color "slate". Love it because it shows no prints and easy to keep clean.
