Cheng's is actually a sushi bar. Hollywood Nails is next door. I went to Regal in Walmart and they did an excellent job for quite less money than I was used to paying. Very clean, autoclaved tools. "Yemi" (?sp) is from Vietnam and knew exactly what she was doing on my toes! I had a nice leg rub and massage with salts and arm massage at no extra cost. Facial (including eyebrows) waxing, mani and pedi with massages were $55 total! Included inside info on shopping in the area and the Asian shopping of Orlando!!!

Default Pedicure

I can't remember the name of it but I went to a place at Spanish Springs near Cals and was really impressed. They did a good job and the price was right.

I went to Hollywood Nails today for a pedicure and was very happy with results. Price was reasonable and Maria was very good. The place was quiet and relaxing compared to what I experience at the Salon Professional Academy. I went to one place in Spanish Springs but felt like I was a number and then they got you in and out fast.

The sushi bar at Chengs is gone and has been for months, just a restaurant now. The nail place next to Cals in Spanish Springs is Viva nails. They're good but no one there speaks english (or at least they pretend they don't).

Pedicures that use water bowls can cause serious infection. What they call a dry pedicure is your best bet. Cross contamination comes from biofilm buildup in the water pipes and the water jets in the foot bowl that are never sterilized. Bacteria stays in the jets FOREVER! return vents are not cleaned between each use.

Dry pedicures are hard to find but they still feel wonderful. They use hot towels on your legs and feet. I recently had a dry pedicure in Tavares near Mount Dora and it was heavenly. It included a paraffin treatment and a leg message to die for. If your interested in the shop and pedicurist please send me a pm.

Sorry to burst your bubble but its better to be safe then sorry.
