Devoted this weekend to me, Me, ME!

Yesterday I spent the day with my hubs, Rollerblade Ann and her hubs, and my team teacher and her hubs on the boat. There is a big annual Labor Day Weekend get together on the lake and we people watched, swam, ate, and drank the day away! It was hot, the water was refreshing, and good friends' company made for the perfect Saturday.
Today, I slept late, never changed out of my jammies, didn't fix hair or put on make-up, and decided to sit back, watch news of Gustav and the RNC, and do absolutely nothing!
What a weekend! Only one more day then the grind begins...Tuesday is the first day of school with the kids. :yikes:

Thanks Nonie. I haven't been awfully homesick for The Bubble lately, but the pictures of Vetman's party did me in. Now I can hardly wait to get back to TV. Fireboy just called and asked if I want to leave Canada a couple of days earlier.

Started packing for the trip home to the bubble.......can't wait...I will trying to outrun Hanna.
Hopefully she will be kind and not rain on my trip.

I wish we were, Bare. We're not retired fully yet and are still weighing the idea of cashing everything out here and moving fulltime to our haven in Duval. In the interim, it's snippets of getaways to drink some more Koolaid. But even though I'm a little green-eyed that you'll be there before me, I'm delighted for you. But please save me a seat at the coffee klatch when I get there ;).

Had a wonderful time at a faboulous wedding party for someone's :edit: daughter and son-in-law. Fantastic sunset, wonderful breeze, bubbles and laughter and most important of all - friendships.

Company was excellent but we missed all who could not attend - both here in TV and those coming back.

You all missed Mr. 07 in his new garb for this season.

Well, looks like Hanna is going to delay my start back to the bubble. I will not be leaving now until Tuesday sooooooo......I will get home Thursday or Friday(got to stop for a birthday in NC). I will pick up the Captain on Wednesday in Baltimore and we will get home asap...that is if Ike doesn't delay us.....

Vedy interesting drumming circle today behind the old Whisky Creek. If you have rhythm and need to express it you can pound your heart out on Thursdays at 2:00. Very relaxing and music to my ears! Loved the company of dear friends all pounding together!

Hi, I have to agree with both Chels and Nonie. That is except for one point, you can have fun drumming even if you are like me and have no rhythm.

See you all next Thursday. We are going to bring a native American flute next week. It was a lot of fun.

That's right I am back. Drove into The Villages at 5:30 and wooooooooow did that feel good. My housewatchers had turned on my air and the refrigerator...my house and yard look wonderful. Soooooo glad to be home.
Picking up the Captain at SS in about an hour.
