This is true and I really miss it. They had great deals on shoes and I bought quite a few.

That is what I thought, too, when I opened the thread. How about a Cabelas outlet? That would be wonderful!

There's one in Ocala. That might be too close to warrant another one here.

The first mention of Bass and I'm thinking Bass Pro Shop. Just my luck and disappointment.

Bogie, i cannot find the story, but Izod announced they were exiting the retail businesd. I believe there was a thread in this section about the store closing.

Regarding Izod- any sales rep in their store will tell you they are leaving by October! Re Bass shoes/clothing outlet- job postings for manager and asst manager on indeed.com. States opening a store in May in Lake Sumter Landing. I'm thinking maybe the old Cold Water Creek building. Any thoughts?

It was in the financial section awhile back that Izod was getting out of retail.

Either Cabelas or Bass Pro would require a larger store than available in Lake Sumter and although I'd love to see it, I don't think it would be a big hit in this community.

It was in the morning Sun, said the store would open in June. It doesn't mention the old Coldwater Creek location, just LSL and it will be 6,000 square feet. They mention in addition to shoes they would have clothes and accessories. I was in the Coldwater store once when it was open and it didn't seem to be bigger than maybe 2500-3,000 sf. I'm thinking they might be going into where TV Yamaha was located next to Sonny's, that was a lot bigger after they expanded.
