You have to drive about 1.5 hours but it is so good. A Grouper Reuben at Boondocks Restaurant over in the Ponce Inlet area. Around here not to sure!

Molly Goodheads in Ozona.
Between Tarpon Springs and Clearwater on Alt 10.
About 100 miles from The Villages, but the whole area is worth a visit.

Or Charlies right next door before you come to Crackers. Grouper is a very fat or round fish and the fillets are usually at least 3/4" or thicker. If you get a fillet that is just a thin slice of fish it probably isn't grouper and from what I've read grouper is mostly never what you get. The grouper is very white and will flake off into pieces. My favorite of all fish and only found in tropical waters. The very best grouper sandwiches I've ever eaten was on the fishing piers, Sunny Isles and Haulover in Miami Beach in the 50's.
