The most useful tools any cruising couple can get are pair of voice activated headsets for communication when dock,locking or anchoring.
Also, very important, the Admiral should be handling the boat & the captain should be handling lines, anchors & fenders--he should have the strength needed for these procedures The Admiral should know as much about boat handling,as the skipper. |

Love hearing from all the 'ex' boaters (CLOD!!! Love that term!). Please know we would keep you in the loop ('Associate Members'?) IF we start a club.... If you know of an active cruiser (boat/yacht owner), please let them know we are 'looking' for them! If we don't get enough active boat/yacht owners those of us thinking to start a club will not proceed and then there will be no possibilities for 'associate members'/guests' (there were over 50 USCG Documented Boats with owners in The Villages at one time...not including Registered boats/yachts).
