Default Berber carpet

Does anyone have any experience buying berber carpet?
Where to buy?
What month does carpet go on sale?
Have original carpet in master bedroom and needs replacing. my wife thinks a berber would hold up better. She does not want tile or wood.

We had Berber in our old home, it was a very good blend. We had 3 kids ,several cats, and a Pyrenees mountain dog. It held up very well over the years. Try HD or Lowes to get an idea of pricing. They usually will beat the independent stores.

I agree with your wife. It was not available at our design meeting. Chose cheaper carpet and will replace with berber in the bedrooms. So many nice color combinations offered. We have not closed on our house yet and will be interested in referrals too
