Question sealing tile and grout

We're just moving into TV this weekend and wonder about sealing our tile and grout. Is it necessary before use? Doesn't the builder seal it? Thanks for your input!

Unfortunately, they do not seal the grout or tile. We used wesealgrout.com (All surface rejuvination plus) and they were really great and competitively priced.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! Guess we'll seal before we shower
