I hate to hear (or read) people accused of being "Creepy." That is such a quickly thrown out comment but it paints the accused with a broad brush of being a sexual predator without evidence and that paint is a long-lasting stain.

It is usually women that so cavalierly like to reference someone as "creepy" but it is extremely damaging. It is no different than if a girl called some other girl a s(ut in high school. Damaging to the reputation without evidence and no way to remedy. Does one call a woman a "s(ut" as easily as one calls men "creepy?"

There is a group of people that like to do the same thing with terms like "nazi," "racist," and "Fascist." Uncalled for, unjustified, inaccurate, and reeks of hysterics.

If someone calls someone else "Creepy" I am usually knee-jerk thinking that the name caller is not entirely mentally balanced and overly paranoid and sensitive. I usually keep all future encounters with said name caller at arms-distance for fear of being labeled whatever comes to the name-caller's mind based on nearly nothing.

Just wish they would put some better restaurants. Wishful thinking.

Guess you will not be a regular. Feel free not to go but why criticize those of us that might want to go.

You don't think you're creepy but you can't hear the server's conversations when you leave.

If you had young daughters you would know why the word "creepy" is appropriate.

Maybe they were looking for clientele who are used to support hose and push-up bras.:22yikes:

The assertion that this is strictly limited to a place like hooters is disingenuous.

Additionally, there is a difference between an individual acting in a cringe-worthy manor (which happens everywhere...be honest), and painting anyone who walks through the door of a particular restaurant as creepy.

Just as the other term is appropriate if you had young daughters, right?

I don't know what other term you're talking about but on the whole, bright, young women are not looking at crusty old men for a sugar daddy. If a young woman comes on to an older man it is almost, in every event, because she has her eye on his money and she's lazy. But at least in those instances it keeps the pharmacies busy selling those blue pills.:duck:

You're right, most of us walking through the door of restaurants are not creepy. Those walking into Hooters are NOTgoing in for the food. Probably the second most offensive area for women is offices with older managers.

Sure, lets continue the stereo typing based on zero data and lots of specultation. Since there are women that also go to Hooters what do you call them?

That's what we do here, right? Never step foot in a place but know all about it.

Been to Hooter's in at least five cities. Seen families in most of them and was late at night in the other. I go for the wings and will give this one a shot.
