We saw Barefoot in the Park at Melon Patch Theater on opening night last Friday. As expected, it was delightful. Always entertaining and, being a smaller group, it's fun to support them.

I can't imagine many will go with the current covid situation, in fact I am surprised it's happening.

Default Melon Patch Theatre, Leesburg

We were at the production "Overdue Bills" tonight and it is the best play we have seen at the Melon Patch Theatre. It is a true story and the father of the book by the same name played the part of the grandfather.

We had been season ticket holders at the Studio Theatre in The Villages for several years, but did not renew our subscription because we were disappointed in the topics selected for their productions.

If you can go to the Melon Patch the weekend of Oct. 8th to see this production you will not be disappointed. That is the last weekend. We went to the Sunday matinee but we understand patrons on Friday and Saturday get a free glass of wine with admission.
