My first look at the map revealed crimes in the commercial areas of The Villages but I could not find any crimes in the residential areas of The Villages. The earliest crime that I found was on 2/11/2023. It is hard to believe that there were no crimes reported within the residential areas of The Villages.

Mr. Obvious here.....................make sure you expand the date within the "filters".

I did not study English in college, but I understand the map.

Good Luck.

Analyzing data available on The Villages District Gov website, the percentages of homesites within The Villages is 82% in Sumter, 11% in Lake, and 7% in Marrion County.

You're just not looking at the right site. There are numerous crimes (DUIs - both golf cart and auto, various assaults, domestic violence, robbery/theft, poop-smearing, convicted child molesters moving in with mommy/daddy/granny, hit-and-runs, illegals driving without license, and many more) that occur daily, many of them due to mommy's little repeat offender 35-year-old angel living in a so-called "55+ retirement community".

Would you be so kind as to direct us to the "right site"? Thanks!

This is data reported by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. I would assume that any arrests made by local police departments such as Wildwood would not be included, making the results not as accurate as they could be.

Yeah, without Wildwood this is going to be boring. It should include all of Florida then it would be interesting.

I'm still looking for the one's going "40 mph"...

I’m noticing most of the crime is in the Wildwood area.
