Default Expanding room size

Has anyone expanded the size of a bedroom on an existing house?

Try doing a search on additions, expansions, etc. there have been several threads on this subject, mostly asking for recommendations on builders. This should also give you a list of people to contact about the pitfalls of such a project.

On a side note: Sumter County changed building code requirements. No idea what the impact would be on this type of project, but as a first step it would probably be a good idea to talk to ARC and then the building departments to see if your project is practical.
Hope this helps.

First step is Planning and Zoning. Must check with them first to see if you meet all the requirements for expansion.
