9 holes or 18 holes?

If you only want to play 9 and it’s only 18 that you have to pay for, just go to the pro shop after nine and tell them you don’t feel well and they will credit you for nine, which you can use next time you play.

You have to tell them 9 or 18 holes, when you check in. Before you pay.

Yes, as with my arthritis 9 holes is ok but 18 causes hand pain for three days. Besides 4+ hours is too long for me.

Actually, that's no longer true. Men can now wear a collarless golf shirt, but it still has to have some buttons in the front. Tiger wears those type of shirts sometimes on the PGA tour. I always wondered why women can wear a shirt with no collar or sleeves and that is totally acceptable?
