Default Bushnell Range Finder

I have a Bushnell V4 range finder and after a year of use without problems it will no longer give me yardage to the pin. I get the normal view (and battery is charged) but it won't give me the yardage. There is the word "setup" below the screen. I looked online and found nothing in Bushnell website about this issue. I tried keeping the red button depressed and it scrolled throught the "Slope off, Y" screen then "Slope off, M" but still no yardage. Has anyone had this issue and how did you resolve it.

I have a 800 number but rather then waste 40 minutes on the phone thought someone here might have resolved this issue.

Odd...I don't utilize rechargeable batteries in my v4. Perhaps that rechargeable battery is shot. Try a regular CR2 lithium. Also if your Bushnell got well put it in a bag if uncooked rice for a few days.

Reset: Press & hold all 4 corner buttons at the same time for 7 seconds and then release. The screen will go blank and the reboot process will begin.

it's a Bushnell range finder and it has one button on top which not only activates the unit, but ranges the target.

Perhaps this is supposed to be humorous?
