That seems like an awfully low price for such a property.

I'm glad we have the community development districts ownership and management of our facilities…..well worth the $145/month/household.

Did it make a difference with your dinner because of new owners

I heard the former owners took the dishes, silverware and condiments with them.

The golf course and club were the only properties sold at Stonecrest for $1.35 million. The Morse family could sell The Villages golf courses any time, since they are all privately owned (except for the executive courses north of 466).

"These championship courses are owned by the Villages Developer and through an agreement with the VCDD, are managed by that entity.[39]"(from wikipedia)?

It would seem to be a bit more complicated than "could sell the villages golf courses any time"....

I heard that also. I X'ed out my post. I shouldn't have posted anything negative.

Give it a few weeks and try again - I can't be worse than some Villages (r) places and it's golf cart accessible! (thru main gate - just say ur going to the CC)

Many of the former staff were like staff in most local restaurants . . . some good some not so good, like nearly everywhere.

Kudos to Lopez staff last Friday. Our Friday nite card group of 11 was seated in the private room to the left of the bar area - very nice and great service; a mgr came in about four times to check on us.
