Pelican, Heron tie for first. Amberwood is next, followed by Gray Fox (which used to be even better) and finally Churchill Greens (mainly for the view between holes 5 and 6 at sunset. Overlooking huge pastures with cattle and horses grazing as the train passes by in the distance blowing its horn and the ducks make a racket in the long pond that borders the long path at the edge of the pastures that separate the two holes).

Almost all of them in the north end of The Villages.

I personally think the renovated scaping at Mira Mesa creates a breathtaking view of our lives in The Villages. Strangely bucolic. Cats instead of cows though.

None in my opinion. But I would vote for Heron and Pelican, simply because they don't have a lot of houses or roads lining the fairways.

Played it for the first time last winter. Holes 1, 2, 8, & 9 were outstanding. Holes 3 through 7 were nothing special at best.

Default Scenic Executive Courses

Mira Mesa gives me the feeling of playing an old time "country club" course. Chula Vista, with all it's trees, is like playing in a park. Both courses provide ample shade for summertime play.
