Default favorite championship golf course?

My husband and I will be there for 1 day in January. He is a 8 handicap and would like to play one of the championship courses.
Which would you suggest? Which is the most fun? Prettiest? Do you think he will be able to get out as a single?

Thanks

One Day? IMO, it has to be Palmer. I would suggest playing on the Riley Grove 9. Though Riley Grove is not part of Palmer's design, it is very pretty as it heads out near Lake Sumter.

Should be no issue getting out as a single, but one never knows.

I vote for Palmer overall but the prettiest 9 in terms of wildlife is Hibiscus on Cane Garden.

If u are here ... and not as a guest ... you might find a course like Palmer expensive. If u just wish to just get in a round of golf, there are some nice courses within 20 minutes of TV that are fine and under $40.00. That being said, Palmer is the best design. Play Riley first ... hitting it left to right .. and then Cherry ... hitting it right to left. Enjoy your visit.
