Likely only refers to Championship Courses.

Midwestgirl 05-21-2021 09:17 AM

It applies to Executive courses also.

The starter at Roosevelt told my wife this morning it will be a maximum of 3 carts starting June 1. At least 2 golfers must pair up. Ridiculous for Executive courses where most never have a cart on the grass.

I realize this is different from the announcement but the guy was adamant.

Clarification will be coming out next week, the ambassador was incorrect.

Hopefully they continue with the rule that the person who refuses to double up is the one that gets to stay on the cart path.

The rules will be the same as pre covid, ONLY 2 carts on fairway at a time

I am not sure what you mean. The trail fee is per person, not per cart. Two people with paid trail fees in one cart isn't any different than two people with paid trail fees in two carts.

Trail fees are per household not per person.

Read my previous post where I said the trail fee was for a couple in a house. You took this out of context and I was referring to the lack of difference between two people in one cart and two people in two carts.

OK. But, nothing in that says that the course can not restrict how many carts a group can take onto the course. Nor does is say that you have the right to have a cart to yourself. It is simply a way to pay to ride the course, rather than walk. Nothing more.

tuccillo 05-21-2021 02:49 PM

I never stated that. I was just clarifying the financial aspects.

Okay, but my Priority Membership includes the trail fee, yet my wife still has to pay $4 when we play the execs. Confusing to say the least.

tuccillo 05-21-2021 02:58 PM

I agree. And why don't single person homes have a reduced trail fee?

My days of playing Men's Day is finished for now. NO WAY am I going to ride within inches of a person (for 4 hours) that I do not know whether they have been vaccinated or not. I did not spend the last year being extremely careful to give up now. It is too soon to implement this action. Just another summer (snowbirds gone) to dump on the Villagers that live here year round.

Mortal1 05-21-2021 06:44 PM

So you haven't been vaccinated?

because if you had it means you can't get covid from someone else...or did you just get vaccinated because you like the needle?

Being ignorant is a choice a person makes even though they have the proper information available. Being stupid is not knowing the information they require is available.

The fee is based on the cart itself, not how many people are sitting in it.
