If you are figuring in the cost of priority of $10 / round.....
17 minus10 =7
7 minus 10 =-3
Like in the commercial..it's not complicated
Not the COST, the SAVINGS...SAVINGS of $10/round = 92.5 rounds for a COUPLE to break even, not to mention the trail fee if you play execs and the better chance for tee times.

Bottom line,,, PRIORITY is an option, NOT a requirement, if you play in a group some groups require it. If you think it is to high to not get it, it is that simple. If you think the prices for golf are to high, don't play here. We all have choices!!!

I agree with your hubby. Are the courses manicured to the standards of a super-expensive private club? No. But the cost is nowhere near what those places cost, and I love the variety.
When things get beat up due to heavy traffic in the winter, we just "move 'em everywhere", which is much more fun that complaining about the conditions.

I am hearing that trail fees will not be included in the new Priority Membership, I have been a PM for 6 years and it has always included trail fees. When reading the PM web site it now never mentions trail fees are included nor does the EXEC course fees section mention that PM trails fees are exempt . Has anyone heard anything about trail fees being removed from Priority Membership?

Default Fees

Well, the tread originally threw shade at the substandard billing system. Thinking I read somewhere that a whole bunch of money was budgeted to upgrade the tech (a sole source, non-bid contract renewal for a company operated by a kissing cousin of the Family, if I recall.) Perhaps this will make a difference. In my lifetime, hopefully.

I recall last fall, the Villages put out a video saying our IDs will be linked to the app. I would guess that is all part of a fairly major technology upgrade.

look at the 2022 rates on this site. You see anything about waves? I started a thread about this that nobody seemed to pick up on.

Hmmm Golf !

Hit the ball

Jump in your golfcart and chase it.

Swear in words Webster could print.

Pay stupid fees for the privilege to golf on crowded golf course which needs t-times 6 months in advance

Do all that twice a week??????

I think I'll stick to something else to get my jolly's

Where did you get that 6 months in advance? Oh, wait you are not a golfer that explains it. Actually nothing to offer……..

I went to my Villages golf file and pulled out the winter rate sheet from last year. There are only two changes between the 2021 and 2022 rate sheet. The first is obviously the addition of Southern Oaks, which was not open last winter. The second change is that the published rates last winter included sales tax, but sales tax is now additional. As far as wave pricing, both years are identical. The rates for the Morning and Afternoon waves are the same. There are no evening waves in the winter because the days are too short, at least until April and May, which are still considered winter. However, after the afternoon wave (or after 2:00 on the courses with only 18 holes that have straight t times), you can play unlimited golf until dark for the half price 9 hole rate. Hope this answered your question. As a side note, when looking through my golf file, I noticed that a non-priority resident could have played Tierra Del Sol during the winter of 2016 for $50 including tax, this winter it will cost $64 plus tax.

All Country Club Pools are included with Priority Golf membership...except the extremely popular and fun pool at Hacienda Hills. Somehow this great pool with pool-side bar has gone missing!
