Golf questions
We will finally be at our Villages home in a couple of days and have not been there since early June. I am wondering if the June golf policy's are still in place and have the following questions.
Do I still need to pre-pay pro shop credits for championship golf and check in at the starter shack instead of the pro shop (excluding Hacienda since there is no longer a pro shop)? Are they still only opening two of the three 9 holes for golf in the PM and on Weekends (at the 27 hole Championship courses)? Are single golfers still allowed to use their own carts and not have to pair up with another golfer? Do I still have to pre-pay $20 per month for trail fees for my wife and I to use our cart on the executives? I know, I could call a pro shop/starter shack and get these answers but I like to hear from fellow Villages golfers. Thanks |

If you call a pro shop, you will be talking to a fellow villager.

You pay in the pro shop day of.
All 9’s are being used unless closed for maintenance. Not required to pair up. Prepay trail fees, yes. Monthly, 6 months, yearly. |

The afternoon wave on weekdays, only uses 2 of the 3 nines. On weekends there are only 2 nines open and it is straight tee times.

Your second sentence is not correct. Read Regor's post.

Thanks for the information, sounds like the only thing that has changed since June is you can now pay day of play in the pro shops.

Starting October morning and afternoon during the week will be all 27. The weekend will be a wave with all 27 open in the morning and only one nine closed in the afternoon. No more straight tee times on the 27 hole courses

I agree with last post - call a pro shop or tee time office. There are some more changes; no cash at execs; prepay trail fees and must buy prepaid "punch" card for guests. Distances from the greens for RA's and process to acquire RA are different. You'll be a much happier golfer if you get up to date on these from an "official" source.

Just a thumbs up to you. So nice, decent. Notice some of the smarty cutie type answers. Just nasty people I suspect, glad you answered the person with a decent reply. So nice to see once in awhile. Nice of you.
