Default Golf Rates for 2020

Has anyone seen what the green fees will be for Championship Golf in the Villages starting January 1st, 2020?

This is where they will be......Golf The Villages

Short of coming up to Taxachusetts and clicking your mouse that's as helpful as I can be.

For priority members, the privilege of playing golf on non over seeded courses again this winter, the rates will be rising about $5 per round, or about 10%. Most courses are going from $42 to $47 per round. Will definitely be my last year of priority golf in the villages. The greedy family strikes again.

If the rate chart posted here is accurate the rate at the cheaper course, ie, HH is going from $30 to $41 for the PR rate. That’s an increase of about 33% not 10%. The rich get richer!

Summer rate to Winter rate.
What was the Winter rate last year? That's what the increase should be based on.

The rates I quoted were based on last year’s rate, which include most south of 466, and is a little over 10%.

My husband is a priority golfer for the past 7 years. He said the typical increase on January 1st is $5 over last year's winter rates. No surprise.

The last two years before this was $2 per round, not $5. Have been a priority golfer for the last five years. This is the largest increase I have seen. Sorry, but hubby is wrong.

He did say about $5 and I typed $5. He does not think it is too much of an increase. We moved here because of the number of Championship Courses available and golf cart accessible. He will continue to play on site.

They have to pay for the increased Property Taxes which they caused according to other threads. Now don't you feel silly??

$5, no big deal.

Why do you think overseeding is the “end all, be all”? It takes more time in the spring for the Bermuda to come out when overseeded with rye grass. The courses have never looked better than they have in the last two years because of not overseeding.

BTW, you really think anyone cares what you do with “priority golf”?

Lastly, I-75 leads you out of this beautiful place if YOU’RE fed up with the, in your words, greedy family.

Goodbye....
