Playing Golf with Hickory Shafted clubs;
The Florida Hickory Golfers would like to introduce anyone interested in playing golf as played back in the day. We are a group with around 30 members who play the older courses in central Florida built back in the 20,and 30s. We played Nancy Lopez last year Steve Trivett put a nice piece in the paper. We will return to the Villages sometime this year. We can supply clubs to anyone interested in playing. We played a 3 day event at Temple Terrace over the weekend followed by the International Cup at Mission Hills which is played in a Ryder Cup format the USA VS an International team with professional and amateur golfers from all over the world the USA won the cup last year in Scotland.
