Default The Links at Spruce Creek South

This has long been one of my favorite off-campus courses but had not played there in a couple years. Earlier this winter was playing with someone who said he had just been there and it had gone downhill. Last Sunday went to check it out for myself. He was right! The tee boxes were knarly, the fairways were terrible with almost no grass is large areas, the greens were shaggy and unkempt. I heard it is under new management and it looks like they don't know what they are doing. I hope it comes back, but I won't be back to see for awhile.

Played it a couple of years ago. Gave it a second chance six months later. Will not go back. In addition to the above, they have a hole that is closed and a temporary hole set up on what looks to be a practice area. Also, the clubhouse is less than good.
