No problem with this change. This happens when the minimum wage goes up.

Now, if they raise the price of drinks at the starter shack, we'll know the real motive. The price of a pitcher of beer is already up to a point where I may order water with lemon. That'll teach 'em.
Wait, they have pitchers of beer at the starter shacks?

Why am I always the last to know these things???

I always bring my own water or other beverage. Not real interested drinking from a cooler. Rake your traps and repair divots.
Then try to enjoy life!

With all due respect to sa “there goes Florida’s friendliest hometown and there goes golf” because they cut down on an ambassador is a bit exaggerated. By the way most championship courses outside the villages are run the same way

I've played with whiners a few times....I remember them and avoid playing with them at all costs.

Bunkers...I rake my area and another close by....quite similar to fixing your pitch mark and one or two others. So if we are losing ground in being "the friendliest hometown" it's due more to whiners and those with complete lack of common sense..or "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" school of upbringing than a lack of Amb.

You seem to equate good business/capitalism and greed. I find that a common mistake in many from the upper east coast who feel they deserve respect in lieu of earning it. Quite sad really.
“Need golfers with more common sense and courtesy/etiquette”

Spot on here. Ambassadors haven't carried water for over a year and will probably not do so ever again. It appears that the golfers will (should) be filling their OWN divots instead of using their sand bottles for cart decorations. Etiquette dictates golfers rake the traps before exiting and replace the rake INSIDE the trap. There is a thing that looks like a two-pronged fork used to fix ball marks on the greens (just in case you never heard of one). I could go on, but….. The ambassadors are working as hard as they can but have yet to master being in two places at once. We need your help here. Stop whining and start helping us out.

Ambassadors were NOT let go. There is a hiring freeze and anyone who leaves voluntarily is not being replaced.

A great many of the Ambassadors have become worthless and we can bring our own coolers and refill our sand at tge turns. Works for me.
Useless?? Worthless??? How nice to be appreciated. I’m playing Riley Grove today and tomorrow. I will report back at a later date.

Same ol, same ol. Build more houses to get more revenue & cut expenses. How many more hundreds of millions of dollars does the Morse family need?
You can hardly get on the exec courses any more in the winter. Exec courses cost money -- increase revenue, decrease expenses.
