Default Oak run in Ocala

Played yesterday, best greens I have played in a long time. Villages should take lessons from them. Nice grass in the fairways and a nice collar around the greens for chipping. $46 with cart. Great time.

I think the course you refer to is called Royal Oaks. Never heard of Oak Run. Yes, plenty of nice greens and fairways outside The Villages at a much lower price, plus they throw in a cart. More interesting designs as well.

I've talked to others who are a bit confused, easy to do, I think because the community is called Oak Run, and the golf course in that community if called Royal Oaks... easy to confuse

And up HWY 200 from there is OTOW which is now golf cart connected to Dell Webb Stone Creek next to Shalom Park and in between both communities.
Stone Creek has a beautiful course as well, very popular place.
