Speed up golf- Use common sense. Unless involved in Tournament play.

On Tee: get out of cart and walk up to edge of tee area while previous golfer is teeing up, then shut up and stand still.

On Fairway: If more distant ball player is a good distance from your ball , or not ready -Hit

On the green: You are ready, others still fiddling - Putt, leave the pin in.

Think more , talk less

My parents were married for 65 years and played several times / week while raising a family. After dad's retirement, they moved to a golf course community here in Florida and played almost everyday.

Although they owned a golf cart, they most always walked, pulling their clubs.

Dad, although a Korean POW, lived to 90-1/2. Mom lived to 93.

Both were social drinkers, Dad (a retired Marine Corps Lt. Col. F86 pilot) smoked, although he quit in his early 70's.

My partner plays three to four times per week and prefers to walk.

We live on a golf course

I see few people walking.
