They are not extending priority memberships or trail fees.

They lost revenue having to close the courses and I'm guessing they incurred a lot of cost having to clean up all the debris on the courses. I'm a priority member and I don't think they should reimburse us. In fact, I'm just glad they're not increasing the cost to play championship courses to recoup the lost revenue and cost to clean up the courses.

It doesn't matter to me. However, it would have been the honorable thing to do.

Personal Best Regards:

Have to agree with rubicon. Priority cost about $20 per week per couple. I wonder how much bitching there would be if every couple in TV had to pay and extra $60 for the month of of September for yard waste pick-up (that never happened)?

What if it rains three days in a row, do you think a refund should be coming?

Be nice, wouldn't it? I'm sure if your internet provider was down for 3+ weeks, you would think it's okay that they wouldn't compensate you for the down time.

Just another thread for the purpose of negativity........

No guarantee on how many days you can play golf.

Some pools have been closed, some trails closed, some streets flooded............I want my fees back too.

So "you" should send TV an extra $60!! I'm sure they would grateful and they sure do need it! Or, just send me and hundreds of other people that spent $60 for services not rendered!

By the way, there was NO eye to Irma left when it got up here. I don't believe there were any hurricane force winds (76 MPH) here either.

You actually saved money.........you could not play golf so you didn't pay green fees.

Gosh! I'm sorry! I wish "I" was rich enough that $60 spent on something and there was no product delivered, wouldn't bother me! Again, I am truly sorry! Y'all probably be crying in your champagne if you didn't get your newspaper for a day. Must be nice to kiss $60 off and say, "The poor Villages needs it!".

What do you spend per year on golf???.........$4k, $5k, $6k???............you are talking about a 1% issue and there are no guarantees on the number of days you can golf.
