Are you supposed to take turns when putting....
or practicing in a limited practice area?
You're more than welcome to take turns on the execs or in the practice areas. you should know that the furthest person from the hole goes first(when playing)...typically...and on the green they can putt out(since no one really cares about stepping in someone else's line)without waiting for others to hit. ready golf is great everywhere, but if someone just putted from the furthest away they can continue. in practice areas with limited holes to putt or chip to the actual etiquette is to just share a hole and while you can take turns you most certainly do not have to. |

don't drop your golf balls close to a hole while hitting to another hole.

it really depends on far you stand from the hole...also you can putt to the same hole over and over. it's not miniature golf where to play one hole and go on to the next. I use one ball and putt from different directions to the same hole. nothing wrong with that at all.
