In the meantime, if you are not diabetic this will help you pass the kidney stone at home. I have had stones for many years and had success with this technique a lot. In the refrigerated juice section of the grocery store look for and buy Simply Limeade (not Lemonade). Get about 4 or 5 bottles. During the day try to consume 3 or 4 glasses over the entire day. Do this for a week and half every day. The concentration of lime and citric acid is the perfect amount to make the stone break up and chemically start to break into smaller bits that you can easily pee out. I figured it out myself and passed many stones this way.

Worst pain in the world. I had an ambulance take me to the ER so I wouldn’t have to wait. They didn’t wanna give me a painkiller till the doctor saw me and I said if he’s not here in 30 seconds, I’m gonna start screaming at the top of my lungs. He was there in 30 seconds and gave me something good! I eventually passed it, but they say drink lots of water and cranberry juice

Kidney stones

Another poster mentioned Advent Health Waterman, and I concur. My sister and I have both had excellent care at Waterman. Another tidbit… my dad was told by a urologist that he was a “ chronic stone former”. My dad found an excellent nephrologist who determined that he had a tumor on his parathyroid gland. He had surgery to remove it and did well for decades. Best wishes to the OP for a good outcome. |

I also saw Dr Marella. I met him when I went to ER due to a kidney stone. So big a stent had to be in. Was not going to pass on its own. Fast forward a few months and I ended up having hyperparathryoidism and 1 symptom is a kidney stone. Now have had surgery so hoping to never have a stone again
