Default Broken Foot. Like to borrow a Kneeler

I fell in a parking lot during Friday’s monsoon deluge, and suffered broken bones in my foot. I was discharged from hospital having been fitted with a large plastic boot and crutches. Crutches are pure torture.
I left a message with Helping Hands, requesting the loan of a Kneeler. Haven’t heard back from them yet.
I would be very grateful for the use of a Kneeler during the 4-5 weeks I’m to be off the offending foot.
I live in LaBelle North
Thank you. (Sandra)

Please call St. Timothy and St. Vincent de Paul. They may have one for you to borrow.

What a great resource this site is. I received a call this evening with a kind and generous offer of a Kneeler. Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas.

Get better soon. No fun to have that boot in this hot weather. Been there, done that.

You are correct, Gracie. The boot is cumbersome and hot. However in the scheme of things, my injury is an inconvenience and minor in comparison to other patients arriving in the ER

Thank you. VHA have a Kneeler on hold for me tomorrow. In the interim, someone offered me the use of theirs, but if that fails to arrive, we will collect the one from VHA. They advised me to put one on hold, just in case. Of course I will call them, should I be blessed by the loaner.
