Default Fabric for Operation Shoebox

We are in DESPERATE need of Cotton fabric or Cotton mix for Operation Shoebox sewing room. All solid colors and prints on fabric is fine. We make Ditty Bags and holiday stockings that Operation Shoebox fills for the soliders overseas. We meet every Monday from 12:30 to 3:00 at Lake Miona Rec Center on Buena Vista Blvd. If you can help us with this request it would be deeply appreciated. You can stop by on Monday and see the sewers busy sewing...if we have fabric...or you can PM me and I will be happy to pick up your donation.
Thanking you in advance
Pat

At a garage sale our street had my husband tried to sell expensive quilted cotton fabric I had bought and regretfully never used but stored in the attic. I removed it from the sale saying "It is for Operation Shoebox." If I can't bring it over Monday I'll pm you.

They certainly would...we use the fabric coupons from Joann's Fabric store so donations help purchase this fabric. Checks could be made to Operation Shoebox and in the memo section kindly write "for fabric".
Thanks
Pat

I have some leftover fabric from a duvet cover...it is a wine color. Does color matter?
