Hi, I am looking for transportation for my father (84) that does not drive to visit my mother who had a stroke. I live out-of-state and just left after several weeks. My dad tried the bus from Spanish Springs to Leesburg. It was ok getting there, but the ride home took too long (1 1/2 hrs plus taking the golf cart from Spanish Springs to his house). We originally thought the bus would work and that I could go home (I live in OR), but I'm not sure it will. I called taxis and limo services, but they are either not available or would cost 60-$70/day which is not affordable. He lives in Sumpter CO, so is not eligible for the Lake Co transport service. Does anyone know of any service that could at least drive him 1-way (approx 15 mi) for a reasonable price from the villages to the Lake Harris Health Center?
