Has anyone used this group? I talked to them and it didn't take long for annuities to enter the conversation and with the remaining funds they wanted 1.5% to manage which is too high.

My wife and I moved here 7 years ago and we attended several seminars and one of those was Blackston Financial...David Blackston was the speaker and he talked about things we had never thought about...the luncheon was at Bonefish. We went into to see him and he uncovered things that our current advisor up north had not even discussed. We moved our accounts to them and have been very pleased. The fee you mentioned has never bothered us because the returns were so good. We did put some of our money in annuities and they have performed very well. I recommend this group to all of our friends and those that met with them have been very pleased

Annuities? 1.5%? My opinion is "fuhgeddaboudit".
