Question Equity loan

A friend of mine who is not a US citizen wishes to tap about 1/3 of her equity in a new home purchased all cash.

Banks here said if you're not a US citizen, can't be done.

What other avenues might she try, at 1/3 looks like a secure position for any lender.

google private money lenders...there are plenty.

Here's one that may be able to help.

You might try quicken loans. If they can't do it maybe they can direct you to someone that will.

Why not convert xx funds into USD and make the purchase??
Any overseas bank can do such a conversion.
