Journalism has been dead for some time, partisan journalism seems to be the norm, if you hear anything from any source that catches your interest it is only the place to start whatever independent research you can do on your own, a daily test of one's critical thinking, what was said, how it is presented,what is implied, are the "facts" facts or strung together implications? is it he said she said ? good luck
