Default Poll - Low interest rates, are these a problem?

Re trying the poll.

The theory was that fixed income securities - CD's, Bonds, etc. - should provide part of the cash flow we all need in retirement.

My question is how has the years of low interest rates affected your retirement.

Definitions:
Meeting your standard of living is paying all the regular monthly bills you anticipate incurring when you retired.

If you had to reduce your standard of living you may have reduce eating out, travel, entertainment etc.

By a serious problem I mean that you think you could run out of money, but would probably not have if rates were not so low.

The question relates to the interest earned from fixed income securities and not their market value.
