While visiting some family this past weekend we were confronted with some CNN broadcasting which we normally never do. They were in fact discussing the upcoming recession, then one of the ladies announced that more than likely we are already in the recession but nobody realizes it yet! The funny thing (or sad) was they seemed to all be excited about the fact that a recession is coming or already arrived.

Happy to be back home were my personal ban of ALL cable TV news remains firmly in effect.

In original post I didn't suggest I was doing the "right" thing just reported what I did and did say I was lucky. Will look at getting back into mutual funds in November and if not then, next Feb.
