Default Tax preparation

Anyone recommend a tax preparer in The Villages? Moved from out of state, sold two houses, have investments...blah, blah, blah. Tired of devoting 3 weeks of my time and writing huge checks. Any help?

Assume you sold houses in old state and lived in you old state and FL in 2016. Since FL does not have an income tax I would use my old tax guy since you have a state return to file. If you did not use anyone before then you need someone that knows the laws of your old state in addition to Federal Taxes.

Thanks. Sold one house in CO and one here. I will have to file a partial year there. I've been doing the Turbo Tax thing up till now but it is getting to be a pain. Seems I stress out every year and would like a cpa to take some of the drudgery out. Just looking for recommended folks in the area. Not a H&R Block type.

Default Tax Prep

I am still looking for a tax preparer, the email you sent to me was misplaced. Hard to believe that there has only been one recommendation. I have sent emails to numerous individuals listed on an IRS referral with no replies. I'm going to keep at it though. Thanks

I would be happy to meet with you. I have a boutique tax practice in The Villages where I come to your home to discuss your tax needs, no obligation. If you would like me to do your return, I complete it and return it to you. I have many references. I formally had a 35 year plus tax practice in Seattle where I did out of state and out of country returns, and complex tax returns. I am professional, prompt and reasonable in price. I love the work so started a personalized practice in The Villages and I am licensed in Florida. I can also represent you to the IRS if needed. Please see my sponsorship here on TOTV. You can call me at
425 941 5224 Bob Bloom CPA I am well versed in all areas of tax preparation and I focus on your needs and situation.
