And since that is where the power and the money is, that is where the sociopaths and psychopaths go to get some. . . the world's political leaders move back and forth between competitive games and cooperative games, in economic terms. Both China and Russia want to relive the past glories of past history, without regards to the pain inflicted on others. . its the downside of worshipping the past and carrying the grudges along as one can never advance the world. . |

The wonderful benefit of twitter is that anyone in the world can create an account and post. There are alot of wonderful individuals around the world on twitter who I read. Here is a political analyst from Ukranian living in Australia, who has a pretty interesting tweet thread about Putin and what he may have thought or interpreted about Ukraine, which may or may not be correct, but I tend to learn from individuals who have lived the history, versus those that repeat words they hear on paid media.
https://twitter.com/zoyashef/status/1497378894529589250 now the world is filled with whackos and sycophants of every color and flavor. Yes, you have to be very selective on twitter, but its a worldwide source of information, if curated correctly. There is also people I follow who are of eastern european descent who criticize the US, and they have interesting points as well. I am not recommending those because most people are nationalistic and prefer confirmation bias. But he does criticize the US for doing the same thing using democracy as the excuse. . . so there are always two sides to every conflict, and its just fascinating to understand the few who have the ability to destroy so much of what humanity has built. |
