Oh, great.

What actor was originally picked to be Matt Dillion- (He managed to stay employed making movies). John Wayne, who recommended Arness, and did the opening of the first episode.

What FSU great athlete became a star on Gunsmoke? Don't know this one, but I'll guess Burt Reynolds. Only atheletic looking guy on the show.

What is the name of James Arness famous brother?( Movie and TV Star)
Peter Graves. Family name was Aurness. And they both had blond hair.

Who was the radio voice of Gunsmoke?
William Conrad...not exactly the look for TV.

Red, all I can find is that Nancy Kulp (and I thought is was Culp also) was a guest star twice on Jack Benny. Just once removed from Burns and Allen.

You can get these You Tube videos onto TOTV by pushing the share option on YouTube under the video and then copying and pasting it onto TOTV.

Here's a TV trivia quiz involving the opening 4 seconds of 50 shows from the past: TV TRIVIA. - YouTube

It has the answers too in the last minute or so.

I copyied and pasted it from the Share option on YouTube.

Whew, that was hard! I kept count as I went, and had 31. When I looked at the answers, I actually had 21. I kind of knew I was in trouble when I had Cheers twice, lol.

The only easy one was Happy Days, with the name in the part they played.

Thanks.

Dave

Cool, even though I guessed on one. I thought I remembered Burt Reynolds played baseball or something. And I know he did live in Florida and had a dinner theatre, so good guess.

Anyone else interested in more quizzes, let me know. As you can tell, I really enjoy trivia, especially TV. I'll be glad to do some more.
