Getting up to pee is almost a relief from the constant flipping back and forth from the pain and numbness in my hips and shoulders. I don't think I've slept straight through the night in 10 years. Xray says a minor case of arthritis. Doctor says I'm just getting old.
But here's the weird part. I caught a virus at a truck stop in Missouri, coming home from seeing the kids at Christmas. Some moron in pajamas and a parka, with snot dripping down her nose, felt compelled to drop by McDonalds and sneeze all over everybody in line, while her husband was filling the car. I've been sick ever since, and finally just this week, I'm feeling well enough to venture out in public again.
The weird thing is, it somehow cured my arthritis. I still have to get up to pee, but my bed is no longer a torture device. I'd offer my cure to others, but sorry, I'm long past the sneezing stage. But it sure is strange. Somebody should study the "Missouri Virus"!
